Lacy Colley Yamaoka

Lacy a Texas native and former luxury travel specialist turned facialist after parlaying her adoration for expat-living, traveling, and wellness into a thoughtfully-designed skin studio.

After working and living around the world from 2006 to 2017, and receiving spa experiences at top hotels from Tokyo to Tapei, to Oslo and Anguilla, she noticed a lack of intention in the North Dallas wellness market where you might say wow, that was it. As a lifelong learner and bon vivant she’s been able to experience how culture and design intersect. The fine details in the studio, from her crafted French-infused service to high design, it’s all about pleasure, escapism, and feel-good, approachable luxury. Imagine all the touchpoints you might find in a five-star hotel, and she’s lived in a few.

The day Lacy graduated esthetics school, she flew out to a training with Biologique Recherche, as there was no doubt who her skincare partner would be, having discovered the brand after frequenting Paris early on in her career. With the homogenous, quick beauty fixes rampantly available, Lacy, a creative chameleon saw this as an opportunity to influence others to embrace the ageing process positively and enhance natural beauty, versus striving for perfection. Plus she enjoys the bonus of client transformations, it’s satisfying for all. Je ne sais quoi - the French saying that describes the elusive beauty you cannot quite put your finger on, that cool-girl confidence, is what she believes women should strive for, and begins with feeling good about the skin you’re in. The inner glow, her intuitive skincare method, consistent self-care and wellness are all important factors in achieving long-lasting results. Wellness for Lacy is simple - honoring what your body needs, and doing it.
